Welcome back for what we hope to be an incredible and fun Spring term.

Science is the art of asking probing questions to learn about the natural world and how everything works.

This term each year group is looking at some fascinating things:

Year 1

Year 1 will be investigating seasonal changes

Year 2

Year 2 will be investigating the properties of materials and the biology of plants and what they need to survive

Year 3

Year 3 will be looking at Forces and magnets and through their topic work they will learn about rocks and soils

Year 4

Year 4 will be spending the term investigating the three states of matter and how we group and classify living organisms 

Year 5

Year 5 are looking at animal lifecycles and reproduction with a focus on humans and how we develop and age.

Year 6

Year 6 will be investigating electricity and circuits.
