Year 3 have been looking at magnets and how they work. At the end of the topic they each chose their own science investigation linked to magnets and carried them out in groups. They looked at if all coins were magnetic, if the size of magnets affected their magnetic force, if being in water affected whether magnets worked and if distance from a magnet affected how well it attracted a metal. They developed their own questions, prediction, method and results as well as concluding what they had learnt from their investigation,
