Brain Tumour Charity Breakfast Walk

There was a lovely atmosphere and a lot of enthusiasm from children, parents and staff as the school took part in the Annual Breakfast Walk. The event is held before school each year to raise money for the Brain Tumour charity, in remembrance of one of our pupils. Raj died from a brain tumour in 2018. He is fondly remembered amongst the children, staff and throughout the school community and not only is his memory celebrated with the walk in aid of his charity but through ‘Raj’s bench’ in our school learning garden. Parents and children enjoyed some tasty breakfast goodies as they walked. We were also joined by Raj’s family who raise money in his name throughout the year. The fantastic figure of £357 was raised on the morning.
